EXPANDED MBTA SERVICE
BOSTON -- Additional commuter rail trains will run between South Station and Yawkey station on Monday and Tuesday during All-Star Game festivities -- a step up from normal service, according to officials from the MBTA.

"The only time we use the Yawkey Station is during Red Sox games, and usually it's just a couple trains," said T spokesman Joe Pesaturo. "We've added a lot more trains to Yawkey."

The T will also add subway trains and buses.

For those of you planning to attend this year's John Hancock All-Star FanFest, but have no idea how to get there, we're including a map that will help show you the lay of the land near the Hynes Convention Center.

As you can see, the Hynes is only a few blocks away from Fenway Park, the Prudential Tower, and Newbury Street, one of the city's busiest commercial areas. Parking will be at a premium, both in terms of availability and price, so we suggest you take the "T" if at all possible. There are a number of stops on the Green line that are within easy walking distance.
