T he only live international phone-in television talk show, Larry King Live is telecast each weeknight at 9-10 p.m. (ET) and includes phone calls from viewers around the world. King also hosts Larry King Weekend , which airs every Saturday night at 9-10 p.m. (ET) on CNN. In June 1994, Larry King kicked off the first-ever daily Radio/TV Talk show by simulcasting CNN�s Larry King Live on Mutual/Westwood One radio stations around the country.

Career & Personal History

Before broadcasting to a national audience, King was a popular media personality in Miami, Fla. , where he hosted interview programs for WIOD-Radio and WTVJ-TV. From 1978 - 1994, King�s voice was heard by millions of radio listeners on the Mutual Radio�s The Larry King Show . King has authored seven best-selling books based on his broadcasting experience. He also chairs the Larry King Cardiac Foundation that awards grants to individuals suffering from heart disease to help pay for medical treatment. King was born in Brooklyn, New York. He currently resides in Virginia.
