Katherine
O'Donnell
liked going to
see plays, especially
musicals.
But it wasn't
the music that
brought her to
The Station in
West Warwick
Thursday night—it was the
chance for the 26-year-old to
catch up with friends.
O'Donnell wasn't a fan of the
band Great White, said her older
brother, Patrick O'Donnell, but
joined a large group for a night
out. "She liked going out with
her friends and having a good
time, so it was more about being
with them than seeing the
band," he said yesterday.
She grew up in East Providence,
the third youngest of seven
children, and moved to Seekonk
with her family when she
was 12. Although she had graduated
from St. Mary's Bay View
Academy in East Providence and
had worked for several years as a
medical assistant in Riverside
Pediatrics in East Providence,
she still lived with her parents,
John and Carol, in Seekonk.
"She liked her job and being
with her family and friends —
just the normal stuff," Patrick
said. "Not that anything's normal
right now."
