What was your most embarrassing moment on television? The very first TV show I filmed, I launched the boat into the lake with no plug in it. As we started filming, we also started sinking. I will never forget that ever!

Charlie Moore "The Mad Fisherman" is the host of NESN Outdoors, the network's 2 hour block of New England based outdoors programming. NESN Outdoors features 4 half-hour shows including Boating Today, Divers Down, Charlie Moore Outdoors, and the Best of Charlie Moore. The "Mad Fisherman" first appeared on NESN in May of 1996, hosting fishing segments on the network's nightly sports magazine program Front Row.

Moore is a successful competitive bass fisherman when not appearing on NESN. A qualifier at the Foxwoods Lake Candlewood Tournament since 1998, Moore placed 13th in 1999 and 10th in 2000. At the 2000 ABA Smallmouth Tournament on Lake Winnipesaukee Moore finished 3rd after finishing 7th in 1999. He has fished on the B.A.S.S. National Trail since 1998 and in Walmart's Everstart Tournament Series in Florida, Alabama and South Carolina. The Beverly, Massachusetts native has collected a total of 3 first place finishes in his career.
