Jayme Parker joined NESN in November of 1996, when she was named co-anchor of NESN SportsDesk, the network's daily rotating sports news and highlights program that airs every fifteen minutes from 5 a.m. until 9 a.m..

Parker began her career in Los Angeles as an intern for ESPN2, where she worked on the Jim Rome Show. While in Los Angeles she served as an assistant director on NBC's hit sitcom Seinfeld.

The Bristol, Connecticut native has worked as a freelance news writer for WCVB-TV Channel 5, WHDH-TV Channel 7 and WBZ-TV Channel 4 in Boston.

Parker received her undergraduate degree from Central Connecticut State University and her Masters Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Emerson College in Boston.
