Tom Larson serves as a reporter for The Boston Globe Pre-Game Report, NESN's half-hour pre-game show for the Red Sox and Bruins. Larson also provides play-by-play during NESN's ECAC Football coverage.

Larson began his broadcast career in 1960 in Fulton, Missouri as a junior in college. He came to Boston in 1969 after stops in Bloomington, Illinois, Peoria, Illinois and Lansing, Michigan to join WSBK-TV 38 as the host of the Boston Bruins Hockey and The Tom Larson Show. Larson spent 12 years with WSBK. During that time, he also served as the station's Public Affairs Director.

From 1981 to 1988, Tom worked at WHDH radio as the station's Sports Director. In 1983, Boston Magazine named Larson "Boston's Best Sportscaster."

Since 1988, Larson has hosted a long list of special presentations and regular programs on NESN including Bruins 70's Snapshot and Bruins Banner Years. He has also served as NESN's studio host for Boston Red Sox baseball and Boston Bruins hockey.
