US ENTRY: Kevin Han

FAVORITES:

  • Men's Singles: 1. Peter Gade Christensen, Denmark; 2. Taufik Hidayat, Indonesia; 3. Jun Sun, China;
  • Men's Doubles: 1. Indonesia; 2. South Korea; 3. Indonesia
  • Women's Singles: 1. Gong Zhichao, China; 2. Camilla Martin, Denmark; 3. Dai Yun, China

WHAT TO LOOK FOR: When the English abandoned the Far East, they left their shuttlecocks behind. Asians claimed all but one of the 15 medals in Atlanta and they figure to come close again. After being shut out at the world championships, the Indonesians are on a mission. They'll share the podium with the Koreans, Chinese, and the odd Dane.
