Excerpt from New Hampshire attorney general's report on Father Paul Aube March 3, 2003 In December 1975, the Rev. Paul Aube was caught by Nashua, N.H., police officers engaging in a sex act with a teenage boy in a car in South Nashua. At the time, Aube was assigned to Saint Aloysius in Nashua. The diocese was informed of the incident and sent Aube for a psychological evaluation. The doctor who examined Aube raised concerns about the priest's continued contact with minors, and Aube himself told the diocese he no longer wanted to engage in parish ministry or do youth work. Despite this, the diocese made Aube a youth minister at Holy Rosary parish in Rochester about a year later. Aube continued to abuse boys at that assignment. The following pages are taken from the Report on the Investigation of the Diocese of Manchester, issued by the New Hampshire attorney general's office on March 3, 2003.
