10 a.m. National Park Rangers open their tour season this weekend, with a 90-minute walk along Freedom Trail. Tours leave the Visitors Information Center across from the Old State House (15 State St., Boston) at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m. on weekends and 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. weekdays. 617-242-5642.

7 p.m.-midnight. Those audio/visual-happy kids of the Toneburst Collective hold an open drumming circle along with a series of collaborative art and music performances at Boston University's Metcalf Hall (775 Commonwealth Ave., second floor).
