1959: AL 5, NL 3
The AL retaliated for its loss a month earlier with a 5-3 win in the rematch, held in Los Angeles. This time Dodger pitcher Don Drysdale was mortal. He struck out five Americans, but also walked three and gave up three runs on homers by Frank Malzone and Yogi Berra. Rocky Colavito of the Indians also homered for the AL. The NL got home runs from the Reds' Frank Robinson and the Dodgers' Junior Gilliam.
