Two days after the first All-Star game of the year, only 38,362 turned out at Yankee Stadium to see Willie Mays' triumphant return to New York. The Giants' outfielder had three hits in the NL's 6-0 win, giving him six in 1960's two games. The Pirates' Vern Law, who earned a save in the first game, won this one with two shutout innings. The Nationals got home runs from Eddie Mathews, Mays, Stan Musial (his sixth as an All-Star) and Ken Boyer.
