1987: NL 2, AL 0 (13 innings)
Pitchers dominated again, holding the leagues' best players scoreless for 12 innings. In the top of the 13th, Montreal outfielder Tim Raines tripled in the game's only runs and the NL won 2-0. The AL almost won the game in the bottom of the ninth as the Yankees' Dave Winfield tried to score from second on a botched double play. But NL pitcher Steve Bedrosian, pulled off first by a bad throw from short, fired home to nip Winfield at the plate.
