A Yes, sir.
208 Q Were you present when the SS men were separated from the other prisoners of war?
A Yes, I was.
209 Q How many of the SS men were separated from the other prisoners?
A I could not answer that in the first place; I refuse to answer that under the 24th Article of War.
210 Q Were you the American soldier in charge of those prisoners of war and responsible for them or were you operating under someone else's orders?
A Yes, sir.

A The commanding officer's.

A Lt. Walsh.
