Testimony of: Pfc. George M. Larson (Contd)
131 Q What was your understanding of the reason for the separation?
A I really don't know. I know they were trying to separate the SS'rs from the rest because some of the refugees were pointing out various men saying that they were SS'rs who had changed uniforms.
132 Q Which members of your squad saw the shooting?
A That I don't know, sir.
133 Q I show you a photograph identified as Exhibit "C". Who is that man whose face is plainly shown?
A That looks like Lee from another squad from another platoon. In the first platoon. I think that is who it is.
134 Q What is Lt. Busheyhead's assignment in the company?
A Executive officer.
135 Q Did you see any American soldiers clubbing anyone?
A No, sir, I did not.
136 Q Did you see any of the inmates clubbing anyone?
A I did see that they tried to, but the soldiers stopped them from doing it.
137 Q What officers were present when they were separating the SS men from the rest of them?
A I don't know. The only one I can remember is Lt. Walsh, right at that time.
