New England Aquarium

While it offers a range of items with aquatic motifs, from videotapes to stuffed animals and books, the Aquarium shop doesn't have the depth of many other museum stores in the area. The emphasis here seems to be more on tchotchkes and less on education. There are some lovely artworks of hand-blown glass, but they're displayed on shelves behind the checkout clerks, and hard to see. Still, if you're looking to buy a plush penguin or sea turtle, this is the place to go.
